Chocolate By the Sea

Athough it can't be directly proven, Dr. Seuss was inspired to wrote this poem after his first bite of Guylian Chocolates. He ultimately decided to insert 'Green Eggs and Ham' to make the poem more acceptable and appealing to children...

...but everyone who knows, knows that this poem is, and always was, about Chocolate.

Artisanal Belgian Chocolates
When Corrinne invited me to review Guylian Belgian Chocolates, I salivated at the opportunity. The word Chocolate, and all it denotes is a deal maker. It is a pronoun, a power word, an action figure. When you say "Chocolate", I say "how high".

I keep Chocolate in bulk: Peters, Callebaut, Guittard, Ghiradelli, and Milk, Dark and White. In fact, one entire shelf in my pantry is dedicated to Chocolate. 10 pound bricks of Chocolate, Chocolate chips, melting Chocolate, liquid Chocolate, and yes even Hershey's Chocolate for summer campfires. 


Needless to say, I know Chocolate; Guylian Chocolate's do not disappoint.



Guylian Chocolates are decadent seashell shaped chocolates with each shell composed of the perfect blend of marbled dark, milk and white chocolate. I'm not ashamed to admit that I ate the entire package that was sent to me in under two days. I savored each delicious mouthful and hardly shared with my husband - I couldn't get enough.

I recommend consuming these chocolates everyday in large quantities.

    I would like to win because it's CHOCOLATE! I'm a big chocoholic, but I've never heard of these. Just to show you how much I <3 chocolate - last night I started feeling like I had this darn stomach bug that's been going around my house - I made some fudge and was fine after a few bites! :D

    I think I should win because I have vomited in 2 chocolate factories, and these are the only shelf standard chocolates I LOVE but I'm a student and can't afford such luxuries and am feeling a little deprived. I'm also a lifesaver and my favorite animal is a seahorse and i also love starfish so I think I should win for that reason also :) haha

    Oh, who wouldn't want to win! I love chocolate (my greatest weakness!), but I rarely can eat it. If I succumb and allow myself to, I always make sure it's gooooood chocolate - otherwise, it seems as if I'm wasting the indulgence. I've seen these chocolates before - love the sea-scape theme! - but never actually tried them. I bet the box smells so good when it's first opened.....

    I so love chocolate, it's afterall a girl's best friend, and that's no lie!!!!!

    There is a guy where I work and he makes these fabulous, to die for, chocolate cakes and he uses belgian chocolate in them. Oh my goodness, honestly it is the most absolutely to die for thing on the planet! Anyway, happy Friday!!!!
